Both acupuncture and chiropractic are valuable tools in treating a wide variety of condition in our veterinary patients.
Acupuncture is an ancient medical art in which needles are inserted into multiple points, stimulating the body’s own healing powers. Endorphins and other substances are released, decreasing pain, helping circulation and well being.
Chiropractic looks for “fixations” or areas lacking motion and seeks to restore motion by manipulations of those areas, helping to restore energy, circulation, and vitality.
Both of these modalities work well together and with other treatment, both western and holistic. The most common reason people request these treatments are for orthopedic and arthritic conditions. In our office, we combine acupuncture, chiropractic, as well as cold laser, herbs, western medicines, and nutritional therapies for treatment of a wide variety of conditions. Consider incorporating these treatments for the health of your pets!
